We would like to welcome Dr. Shraddha Pai (Assistant Professor, Department of Medical Biophysics, University of Toronto), to the CPIN Program.
Dr. Pai’s lab aims to bring genomics and epigenetics to the clinic. The Pai Lab focuses on childhood and adult brain cancers, and on disorders of neurodevelopmental origins. They perform pre-clinical research analyzing neurodevelopmental, neurotypical and disease genomes to discover better biomarkers for clinical decision-making, including diagnostics, prognostics, treatment resistance, and pre-diagnostic biomarkers. They are also interested in discovering novel epigenetic therapies for eventual clinical use. The Pai Lab’s projects combine approaches from genomics, bioinformatics, molecular biology, tissue culture, histology, functional genomics, and pharmacology.
We would like to welcome Dr. Zachary Hawes (Assistant Professor, Department of Applied Psychology and Human Development, Ontario Institute for Studies in Education, University of Toronto), to the CPIN Program.
We would like to welcome Dr. Brokoslaw Laschowski (Assistant Professor, Department of Mechanical and Industrial Engineering, University of Toronto), to the CPIN Program.
