Undergraduate Mentorship Program

ATTENTION: We are seeking program coordinators for the executive team to aid in the following roles: Events Coordinator, Registration Liaison. Please contact cpin.mentorship@gmail.com for further information.

Program Description: The Collaborative Program in Neuroscience (CPIN) Undergraduate Mentorship Program is an initiative which pairs senior undergraduate students (mentees) interested in applying to graduate school with graduate neuroscience mentors, who will support them with all aspects of the grad school application process. As a mentee, you will have invaluable support from your mentor, who will advise you on topics such as program applications, funding/scholarships and contacting potential supervisors. As a mentor, some of your responsibilities will include meeting one-on-one with mentees, helping with grad school and scholarship applications, editing CVs and personal statements, and providing mentees with academic/professional resources.

The program runs yearly from September to April, and it will also include events put on by our program coordinators such as a grad school panel Q&A, socials and workshops. Students involved in the program are eligible to receive an official UofT co-curricular record (https://clnx.utoronto.ca/ccr/overview.htm) to further build their resume.
