Stefanie has spoken at international conferences that include the European Academy of Childhood-Onset Disability, the American Academy for Cerebral Palsy and Developmental Medicine, and been a concurrent session speaker at Empowered Kids Ontario symposium. During her time with CPIN, Stefanie has received significant funding from the Cerebral Palsy Alliance Research Foundation and several pediatric rehabilitation scholarships from Bloorview Research Institute. She has also received numerous awards from the University of Toronto, including a University-Wide PhD Health Science Award and a Pediatric Neuroscience award from the Faculty of Medicine. Stefanie has co-authored a book chapter advocating for brain-computer interface research for children with disabilities and has multiple publications in progress on body-wide outcomes of robotic gait therapy for children with neuromotor disorders.
