Research interests: Synthetic neuroimmunology: we use humanpluripotent stem cells, engineered with CRISPR/Cas9 to carry disease-relevantmutation, for in vitro twin studies. We focus on genes and cellular stimulirelevant to neuro-immune interactions, generating organotypic 3D cultures ofneurons and glia, including the resident immune cells of the brain, microglia.Our work provides humanized models of disorders ranging from schizophrenia toAlzheimer, for mechanistic and therapeutic discovery
