Congratulations to CPIN Trainee, Jonathan Monteiro, for receiving the prestigious University of Toronto Faculty of Medicine Mr. Robert and Ms. Francine Ruggles Innovation Award, based on his research innovation, productivity, and potential impact on his field.
The Mr. Robert and Ms. Francine Ruggles Innovation Award is awarded to an MD/PhD student currently in full-time studies in a graduate program, whose research demonstrates innovation related to the use of devices, patient care, sustainability at the health system, or research. The review committee bases their decision on the innovative aspects of the trainee's research work, outstanding research productivity, and high potential impact on the trainee's chosen field of study.
